If your bed is still uncomfortable after full expansion, then its time to call. If you can, I'd also suggest pulling the bed away from the window wall - it makes it easier for when you have to change sheets or make your bed, increases access to underbed space, and feels less dorm-like imo. ![]() I'm going to reiterate what everyone is saying re: underbed storage! I have a 14" clearance under my frame and it's great for hiding seasonal clothing, hobbies like crafts and houseplant essentials, STACKS of papers, etc, which keeps the actual closet pretty streamlined. queen, especially if you sell the frame after. My sister used one on her IKEA bed for 6 months while she decided. However you can use a blow up camping mattress. I don't think it's that much over 4 years to be the deciding factor over full vs. You can do the opposite (say temporarily) but you must fit the mattress to frame. If I had gone with a queen size metal frame I'd estimate spending ~$70-100 more (including differences in sheets, comforters, covers, mattress). I'm a single 5'5" girl and I starfish every night on my full, no problem! I think the one benefit of the queen is if you want to save a couple dollars on bedding. I don’t plan on having other furniture in the bedroom except a dresser/table and I will be using platform bed frames to store items as wellĮdit: this is an idea of how my floor plan looks Since I’m taking out loans for school, I want to save money but I also don’t want this to be something I’ll be comfortable with for the next 4 years of school I know I def don’t want a twin so I’m torn between a queen and full.what do you all think? From the measurements alone, they don’t seem to be too much different but the price differences are what’s making me question this I’m about 5’6, average weight and I’m used to sleeping on twin xl for undergrad but I do have a queen in my parents home. Hello everyone, I recently acquired an amazing bed room set from some moving neighbors. I haven’t seen the apt in person bc of covid but I’m ordering some furniture to plan ahead But if you can get a full size mattress (especially foam) they will squeeze into most spaces. Think about when you are going to have to move, a queen may not fit in every space. If you are planning on moving, get a full. It’s looking like the kitchen and bedroom will share the same space. I say if you are planning on staying put, get a queen. I’m finally moving on my own to a new apartment for school (plan on staying for ~4 ish years) it’s a tiny studio of 250 square feet and it’s designed where the bathroom and closet are on another side of where everything else (kitchen, living room, bedroom) are on the same side. ![]()
